Giving is a part of worship at LSCC. When we offer God a tribute of our money and resources, we seek to fear, honor and worship Him, being reminded that He alone is our provider and we trust Him to meet our needs.

Our Mission

The Finance Team's main responsibility is to make sure we are good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. Additional responsibilities include tracking weekly expenses, processing reimbursements, creating quarterly reports, and sending out year-end donation statements.  

Online Offering

Donating Appreciated Assets

Gifts of appreciated assets can be one of the most tax-efficient ways to donate to charities.  Some of our members transfer stock donations directly to us and other members prefer using donor-advised funds.  This handout was created to help answer some commonly asked questions regarding donations of appreciated assets (the information here is for general education purposes only and should not be considered recommendations or financial/tax/legal advice).
