Back2Back Ministries is an international Christian non-profit organization dedicated to being a voice for orphans. We exist to love and care for orphaned and vulnerable children, by meeting their spiritual, physical, educational, emotional and social needs that they might overcome their life circumstances and break free from the cycle of generational poverty.
Compassion Network
Location: Local
Compassion Network is a faith-based organization that matches volunteers and resources from 50+ local Christian churches with those in need throughout the Tri-Cities. CityServe’s Compassion Network was created in 2005 to be a ministry of the local Christian churches to connect our congregations with the needs of the community. We attempt to care for the whole person – physical, emotional, and spiritual needs – by investing time to get to know our clients and find out how our churches can help. LSCC has been partnering with Compassion Network and other Tricity churches in the Joyful Bounty and Hearty Harvest events, where we provide grocery bags to low income families.
Justice Rising
Location: Congo
Justice Rising just completed their $60,000 matching campaign in April, and fundraised $121,335 to expand into areas in Eastern Congo, Syria, and Iraq! Cassandra and Edison went to Africa in May to get their way to Congo to start construction on two more schools. Please pray for Congo and the instability in the country because of the election cycle and for Cassandra and Edison's safety there as Justice Rising do Kingdom work there. Cassandra and Edison plans to visit the Bay Area in October, and we hope to meet with them then!
Grandpass Baptist Church
Location: Sri Lanka
Grandpass Baptist Church reaches out to the community around the city of Grandpass. Once a thriving city it is now one of the poorest neighborhoods of Colombo filled with many slums and many day laborers. The church reaches out to the community to share the love of Jesus and meet basic needs when possible.
Missionary support through Impact Matching
Through our Impact Matching program, members of LSCC can apply to have up to $500 (annually) of their personal missionary support matched by our church.
